Device is intended for area surveillance, reconnaissance and artillery fire correction in night conditions. It is built as the periscope with day and night channels. Device can be mounted on a tripod or in an armored reconnaissance vehicle as BRDM. Device embodies the elevation mechanism and scale. The direction and elevation mechanism with the direction angle scale is removable. Device is equipped with the compass and level. There are the controls for manual adjustment of reticule bright, focus adjustment of night channel lens, day/night mode switching, neutral light filter of day channel switching, lens shutter of night channel switching. The automatic screen brightness control is provided.
